heritage

For more than three quarters of a century we’ve refined the unique capability of blending hands-on fabrication with volume production.

We fill the gap between artisan studio and mass production; with an array of material and process capabilities, plus know-how to integrate distinct materials and components into finished products.

specialties

We produce furnishings ranging from modular shelving to reception desks, planters to service carts, displays to media stations, upholstered poufs to wood benches, and tables to storage.

This range is supported by a robust supply chain, including multiple long-established timber and mill relationships. We source Midwest hardwood solids, veneers, plywood, and other substrates from partners recognized for consistent and sustainable forestry practices.

Worden carries both AWI and FSC certifications.

Worden authorized dealers directly support library clients and the selected design-build team.

a personal touch

Every part of everything we make is touched by people, which means everything we make is personal.

Not only does that add value to our clients’ products and brands, it’s also a really great way to build and sustain relationships.

Because while machines ‘do’, people ’care’.

Niche materials and craft skills for libraries, architectural interiors, and design brands.
